ゲリラワークショップin Osaka next weekend!
I've been back in Japan now after a wonderful, relaxing summer in Scotland for just over 2 weeks now and I promise I'll share some photos later but business first!

NiNi concepts, in collaboration with Shalala Mart, have created a delightful project to help you record these precious memories. In the class you'll learn how to create an adorable accordian mini book with a twist, using only 2 sheets of cardstock, NiNi concepts newest paper line "Tea Break", some custom designed accents and some clever application of Glossy Accents, ready for the event. This mini book is no one hit wonder however - it's a format you can use again and again!
Shalala Mart is a fabulous scrapbooking store located in Suita, just 10 minutes by train and on foot from Shin Osaka Station, so why not drop by and take the class? I can't wait to see you there!

NiNi concepts最新オリジナルペーパーで作るEvent Record Book(イベントリコード ブック）
SBファン待望のスペシャルイベント、CKU-Jはもうすぐ。
CKU-J開催地、新大阪駅から10分の距離にあるシャララ・マートの協力を得て、今回NiNi conceptsは久々のworkshopを企画しました。
CKU-Jでの想い出をしっかり詰め込めるミニアルバム、その名もEvent Record Book !
CKU-Jイベント前のアルバム用意で、気分UP↑、その上イベント終了後に作品制作に追われても、イベントの想い出はこれで、すっきり簡単！
このクラスではGlossy Accentsの上手な使い方、そして何より、たった２枚のCSを利用した、しかし折り方には工夫が施された、アイディアものの変形アコーディオン型のアルバムを学びます。
そして今回、この秋発表のNiNi concepts未発表オリジナル新作ペーパーを使用。
ちょとレアなオリジナル作品制作をお楽しみいただけます！
NiNi conceptsの講師はもちろんNicky。今回もCKU-Jのお手伝いをします。

AU Style, 'The Sweet Life' and NiNi concepts
So here's the reason why I was such a bad blogger at the beginning of the year... Au Style contacted NiNi concepts back in December to ask if we would be interested in being featured in their March issue. Of course we said yes - and the next two months passed in a blur of new paper and project designing!
今年に入ってからブログしなかったわけはこれです！１２月中ごろAU Styleに出る事が決まって紙とプロジェクト作りに夢中でした！
Almost all of the projects shown in the article are made with our new paper line,'The Sweet Life' which has a very springlike palette of brown, lime green, pink, orange and white and consists of 10 different designs. I love it and can't wait to play some more!
Au Style に紹介されているプロジェクトは多くNiNi conceptsの新しいペーパー’The Sweet Life’ で作られています。１０種類の柄ととても春らしい色合いと思います。
And my final news, the NiNi concepts website is undergoing a complete renewal. We have lots of exciting plans in the works so keep checking there or our blog for more updates.

Where did February go (& almost half of March)?!?
Was horrified to realize today that I didn't blog at all in February...well the reasons for that will become apparent very soon...２月に全くブログ書かなかった－今日それを築いてショックでした！もうすぐそのわけが発表できる...ＡＵの携帯を持っている方ならも分かっているかも：）
Anyway been travelling to Okayama for some classes recently and just wanted to share a photo taken just before I dashed off to catch the train back to Hiroshima. Thank you ladies for a great day! Can't wait to see you all again soon!

Osaka Scrapbooking Matsuri 2008
Just another two days and I'm off to Osaka. I can't wait! Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Crop Party on Friday - I've been having a lot of fun playing with some cool new products from Kuretake and can't wait to share - check out the sneak peeks on the right...
On Saturday I'll be there wearing a different hat. NiNi Concepts will be opening up shop in the Creators' Space on Saturday afternoon. Check out our blog for more details...
And on Sunday I'm teaching a new class at Shalala Mart, a new store in Suita city so all in all it's going to be a busy weekend!

I have two blogs now!
Which is kind of a joke really since I can barely cope with this one half the time! So why have two? Well as some of you might be aware, I occasionally teach classes or help organise special scrapbooking and craft events under the name NiNi Concepts. NiNi Concepts is a collaboration between myself and a friend and you can read more about it here in English. NiNi is really my creative alter ego and recently I've been working on something which I think is really exciting and am now ready to share - hence the new blog.

Upcoming Classes - Fukuoka
Ooops - it's been over a month since I last posted...March just flew by. I spent it developing some new classes, two of which I will be teaching in Fukuoka next weekend at Scrapbooking Fair 2008.
Friday April 18th, 14:20 - 16:00 - "Life is Good - Five Little Things" (Click here for Japanese 日本語はここです！)
What makes your life (or someone else's life) just that little bit better? We'll be playing with fabric and stamps to create this one of a kind cloth-covered expanding pocket album to commemorate just those things!
Things to bring to class:
Stazon Ink (Black), paper trimmer, tape runner and wet adhesive, pencil, ruler, scissors etc., needle (for embroidery thread), 1" circle punch (if you have one)
Cropadile or hole punch and eyelet setter (1/8") (if you have one)
Size of photos used: Keitai print size (77mm x 55mm) or photos that can be cropped to this size or smaller.
Saturday April 19th, 16:20 - 18:00 - {It's all about...}
In this class we'll be mixing shapes and materials to create a hodge podge album with plenty of room for journaling about a theme of your choice... What's your theme going to be? 
Things to bring to class:
Paper trimmer, pencil, ruler, scissors etc.,tape runner and wet adhesive
Cropadile or hole punch (1/8") (if you have one)
Size of photos used: L size and Keitai Print size.
I'm also hosting a Crop Party on Friday from 16:20 - 18:00.
We'll be using lots of different techniques to make a variety of alphabet tags in pretty spring colours. Plus there will be games and prizes galore!
