"Being You"

If you read the latest magazines or surf the internet then you'll know that felt is all the rage right now.

Using felt, patterned paper and stickers from the Sei 'Hippy Chick' line, as well as cotton labels designed especially for this project, we will make and embellish an adorable mini album featuring that special someone in your life.

Size 4" x 4"

Photos  5 ~ 7 x (3.5" x 3.5") or photos that can be cropped to those dimensions

{Simple Scrapbooking} October 29th, 2007

Scrapbooking doesn’t have to be complicated! In this class I’ll show you how to turn a regular, simple, plastic album into a work of art with the help of some cloth and a sewing machine. Scrapbooking is all about preserving your memories so you might even want to use scraps of cloth from old clothes your children have grown out of or other cloth that has a special meaning for you.

In the morning we’ll work on the album cover and in the afternoon I’ll show you the basics of putting together your own very special simple scrapbook.

スクラップブッキングってそんなに難しいものではありません。
今回のクラスでは市販のプラスティックホルダー状のアルバムを布やミシンを使って、素敵なデザインのあなたのオリジナルアルバムを作成します。
スクラップブッキングとは本来あなたの大切な思い出を形にするクラフトです。
愛着のある古布を切り取って、アルバムの一部にデザインするのも良いでしょう。

午前中クラスはアルバムの表紙カバーの講座、そして午後からのクラスはアルバムページの制作。
基本的な手法からなるシンプルだけど、デザインアイデアいっぱいの楽しいクラスです。
